mail

i noticed how much i love getting mail. even if it's stupid bank letters. just seeing my name on an envelope, from another person to me, gets me excited. i remember when i was a little girl i would ask my parents why i never got mail, and the only times i did was when my grandma in wales would send me birthday cards. i looked forward to those as a kid, i don't get them anymore. i noticed lately that i especially love getting packages in the mail. today i got my books in the mail from eric and even though i paid for them, i felt as though they were a gift. :)
