loss

i watched the curious case of benjamin button tonight and it was fantastic. there's a quote that hit me.. "we were meant to lose people we love. how else would we know how important they are?" and it couldn't be more true. whether it's losing them to death, or losing them by the different paths you both choose, or just losing them due to stupid circumstances. it does suck though... that they do eventually leave us.
